Description
The Senior Manager, Marketing Programs & Operations is the strategic engine of our Growth & Engagement department, serving as the vital link between executive vision and flawless execution. In this role, you will act as the operational architect—transforming high-level goals into actionable roadmaps, optimizing cross-functional resources, and managing the integrated marketing infrastructure that fuels our growth.
As the central coordinator for all organizational initiatives, you will unite the Membership, Sales, and Education teams to deliver cohesive, data-driven campaigns. From mastering our marketing technology platforms to providing executive-level performance transparency, you will ensure our marketing operations are scalable, efficient, and aligned with long-term business objectives.
This position requires a highly organized strategist capable of navigating complex program management while maintaining a relentless focus on execution consistency and operational efficiency.
Essential Job Functions
Strategic Plan Support & Reporting
- Create and present comprehensive, concise, and executive-ready reports (dashboards, status updates) on program health, budget variance, and milestones to senior leadership.
- Monitor key performance indicators across the program lifecycle to measure progress, identify opportunities for improvement, and validate that strategic benefits are realized.
Define and maintain program management methodologies, standards, and templates for consistent reporting and execution.
Act as the Strategic Planning Committee Liaison to facilitate communication between Board of Trustees, staff and the committee to ensure awareness of actions, decisions and needs.
Marketing Program Management - Plan and manage the organization’s marketing program calendar, coordinating campaign execution across membership initiatives, conferences, educational programs, product launches, and sponsorship promotions.
Develop integrated marketing timelines and ensure projects move through established workflows including content development, review, approval, and deployment.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define marketing objectives, campaign strategies, and execution plans for major initiatives.
Monitor campaign progress and adjust timelines or resources as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
Marketing Operations & Systems
- Manage marketing technology platforms including marketing automation, email marketing tools, website integrations, and CRM marketing functions.
Ensure marketing systems and tools are properly configured to support campaign execution, audience segmentation, and reporting.
Maintain marketing data integrity and work closely with CRM administrators to ensure accurate contact records, segmentation, and engagement tracking.
Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes, automation, and efficiency.
Campaign Performance & Analytics
- Track and report on marketing campaign performance, including engagement metrics, lead generation, membership growth, event registrations, and program participation.
Develop dashboards and reports to provide leadership with visibility into marketing performance and return on investment.
Analyze marketing data to identify trends, opportunities for optimization, and areas for improvement.
Cross Department Coordination
- Serve as a key interdepartmental liaison as well as other departments including Standards, Database Services, IT and Executive Team.
- Ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with organizational priorities and program timelines.
- Support integrated marketing strategies that promote membership value, educational programs, conferences, and industry initiatives.
- The President & CEO and COO of NCPDP may during peak periods or when staff resources are limited, redirect staff to share duties and responsibilities of others.
This position is full-time and located at NCPDP’s Scottsdale AZ headquarters. NCPDP is currently on a hybrid schedule with remote work on Mondays and Fridays, and in-office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field required.
Experience
- 7+ years of marketing experience, with significant focus on strategy execution, marketing operations, campaign management, and/or program management.
- Experience working in a nonprofit association, healthcare organization, technology company, or related industry preferred.
- Experience managing marketing automation systems, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms, preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing complex marketing initiatives and cross-functional initiatives.
