Request for Proposals (RFP): Strategic Media and Direct Mail Services
Project Title: Affordability and Civic Engagement Public Interest Campaign
Organization: Community Forward Initiative (CFI) Status: 501(c)(4) Social Welfare Organization
### 1. Organizational Overview
The Community Forward Initiative (CFI) is a social welfare organization dedicated to addressing the American affordability crisis. Our mission is to improve the quality of life and expand educational and economic opportunities for all citizens. We achieve this by:
Supporting nonprofits and charities that provide direct assistance to those impacted by economic hardship.
Educating the public and advocating for policies that promote affordability and robust civic engagement.
Directing resources toward underserved communities, veteran support, youth education, and homelessness solutions.
### 2. Scope of Work
CFI is seeking two distinct but highly collaborative firms to develop a multi-channel public interest campaign.
A. Strategic Media & Digital Firm
We require a media partner to execute a "Community Forward" narrative across digital and traditional platforms.
Creative Development: Develop high-impact video and graphic content centered on CFI’s pillars: affordability, veteran support, and economic opportunity. Please show examples of your work.
Educational Advertising: Execute a public interest campaign that informs citizens of policy solutions to the affordability crisis.
Media Buying: Manage targeted ad placements (Social, Search, and Connected TV etc) aimed at increasing civic engagement and organizational awareness.
B. Direct Mail Firm
We require a firm specializing in high-volume, public-interest direct mail.
Voter/Citizen Education: Design and distribute mailers that explain complex affordability issues to everyday residents.
Resource Mapping: Create "calls to action" that guide underserved communities to available resources and CFI-supported nonprofit partners.
### 3. Proposal Requirements
Interested firms should submit a proposal (not to exceed 10 pages) including:
1. Case Studies: Examples of previous work for (c)(4) social welfare organizations or public interest campaigns.
2. Affordability Strategy: A brief outline of how you would message the current economic crisis to a diverse audience.
3. Pricing Structure: Estimated monthly retainer or project-based fee models.
